What is a Teambook?

A Teambook is a yearbook you build for your own sports team. You take the photos, you gather the information and you put it all together online using one of our templates. We print it and ship it out to you. Most teams will have one volunteer put it all together and order a copy for everyone on the team.

How do I make a Teambook?

First of all, you need all the player and team info, pictures and some time. From the Make a Teambook page the site will guide you through picking your Teambook template. Once you find one you like, it will load the design program at imagineitprintit.ca. From there you need to upload your photos and enter all the player and team information. When you are done, make an account (if you don’t already have one) to save your Teambook and complete the order.

If you want a more in-depth guide and learn how to put one together, go to the How To page and watch the tutorial video and read the PDF files.

How much does a Teambook cost?

All of our Teambooks, whether they are 8 pages or 12 pages, are $15.95 per book and the minimum order is 10 books. You can pay by Visa, Mastercard or American Express through our secure checkout.

How long does it take to make a Teambook?

The amount of time it takes for the actual design process is up to you. Get it all done in one sitting or split it up over a few days. You can save your work as you go.

For the actual production of the books after you’ve completed the order, we have a 5 business days or less turn-around time plus shipping. Shipping is estimated in the shopping cart.

I want to ship a book to each player. How do I do that?

While you can place several individual orders to different addresses, we cannot make that work with the quantity discount pricing. The best way to do this is to ship them to one location and mail them out to everyone from there. Most teams just hand them out at a game\practice\wind-up though. Some teams have even hosted Teambook parties where the kids (with a parent\coach of course) all get together and enter their own info directly online into the design.

Who takes the pictures for the Teambook?

You or someone else in connection with your team does. These books are designed so that you can be the one who takes the pictures, gathers the info and puts it all into the design. That is what makes these so great! You make it your way.

What size photos should I be using?

The quality of pictures that goes into the Teambook is what gets printed. The higher resolutions/megapixel* the image is, the better the quality is after printing. Most digital cameras these days can take pictures of a quality that would work great. You don’t need a fancy camera.

I would also recommend using original pictures from a digital camera. Never use photos from Facebook or similar sites. The quality of those images have been reduced too much to print well.

*The image uploader only properly works with pictures of 12 megapixels or less. If your images are larger than that, you can re-size your pictures to a usable size. There are several programs that can do this for you. Just search the internet for image resizer.

Not all the parents/kids want to give certain information. What do I do about that?

No worries. If someone doesn’t want some or all of their information in the book, just make something up or leave it blank. The player profile boxes in the designs are editable. If you don’t want something like weight for example, just delete it. You can also add other fields if you want too.

I started making a Teambook but I don’t have all the Photos/Info I need to complete it. What do I do?

You can save your design and put it on hold at any time. Simply click the save my design button under the design window and create an account to save it to. As long as you keep the photos used in your account the book can be reloaded and worked on at any time on any computer.

Do I have to use the player profile boxes on every page?

No, you can pick and choose what pages have them or not use them at all. To get rid of them, just pick the bottom layout option (the blank one) on the page templates. That is a blank page, with only the background. You can then just layout your photos or text like a collage.

Do I have to have a roster page and autograph page? Can I change them to something else?

Due to the Teambooks being templates, we cannot get rid of those pages on the existing designs. As Teambooks continue to grow, more templates and designs will be made available.

In the mean time, you could try making your own design with the blank template books. With those, every page is empty and you can do what you want with them. However, they are more difficult to put together and will require more time and work.

Can I use different fonts?

We have several pre-loaded fonts in our program that you can use in your designs. We do not however, allow you to upload your own fonts as there are some copyright and usage issues that we cannot control otherwise.

If having a certain font is important to your design you can try adding it as an image.

I want to make a Teambook but my sport isn’t here. What do I do?

You can use the blank templates to create your own. There is no title page, roster page, autograph page or back page. It is just blank all the way through, though the player profile boxes can still be placed. You will need some high quality photos to use as backgrounds and then you can just place the rest of your pictures as you like. Many people use an external program like Photoshop or a similar program to create their backgrounds and pages. We have provided a template you can use on our How To page.

Can I make a Teambook un-related to sports?

You bet! Just use the blank templates and create your own. We have actually had some classrooms make their own class yearbooks using the Teambook templates. Others have used it to make online gaming guilds/clans Teambooks. We encourage you to think outside the box and make Teambooks work for you.

What is imagineitprintit.ca?

imagineitprintit.ca is the company behind Teambooks. It is the site where the design program is located. This Teambooks.ca site is a front end to getting your book setup and for learning what they are all about and how to make them. When you pick a Teambook template to start creating, you will be re-directed to its design page on imagineitprintit.ca
